Global Silkroad Beginner's Guide
Welcome to Global Silkroad!
Whether you're new to the game or a returning player, this guide will help you get started smoothly.
Follow the steps below to understand the essential mechanics and features of the game.
1. Getting Started
When you first enter the game, you'll be provided with some starter items to help you on your journey:
100k Gold
1k Skill Points
150x Reverse Return Scrolls
150x Repair Hammers
3-Day Pet for item collection
3-Day 100 % Moving Speed Buff
These items are crucial, as there are no bots in the game to assist with your progress.
( Note: Starter items may vary depending on game updates. )
First, open the Macro window and enable the Auto Potion feature to automatically manage your potions.
Set your potions by dragging them into the appropriate slots.
Turn on the Auto Potion option and save your settings.
2. The Academy System
Global Silkroad offers two Academy systems: theOriginal Graduation Academyand theActivity-Based Academy.
High-level players with graduation academy often plvl new comers.
By joining an academy, you can ask your academy master to plvl you untilLevel 40.
Before joining, it's a good idea to PM the academy master to check if they are actively plvling their players.
To join:
Press L to open the Academy interface.
Click on Matching to see a list of available academies.
3. Macro Bot Features
3.1 Auto Skill
Open the Macro Options window and click the Options button next to Auto Skills.
At level 1, your skills will be limited, so:
Place your weapon in the Weapon Slot.
Drag Auto Attack into the skill slot.
Save your settings.
As you unlock more skills and buffs at higher levels, you can adjust these settings.
3.2 Auto Hunt
Set up Auto Hunt for more detailed hunting options.
3.3 Auto Resurrection of Party Members
Configure your settings to automatically resurrect party members by using the Res skill in Force mastery if you opened that skill tree.
3.4 Reverse Return Scroll
Set options in the Auto Hunt window to automatically return to your training area after dying and continue hunting.
3.5 Repair Hammer
Use the Auto Hunt options to automatically repair your items when their durability drops:
Do Nothing: No action.
Use Repair Hammer: Automatically repair items with repair hammer scrolls in your inventory.
Return to Town: Return to town and stop hunting.
3.6 Starting the Macro
Once you're ready to begin hunting:
Use the F11 shortcut to activate both Auto Skill and Auto Hunt options.
4. Auto Stat & Auto Skill
4.1 Auto Stat
As you level up, you'll automatically receive 1 STR and 1 INT point, along with 3 additional points to allocate.
Use the Auto Stat feature to automatically distribute points to STR or INT based on your preferences.
4.2 Auto Mastery
You can allocate up to 300 mastery points in Global Silkroad.
This allows you to set different builds, such as three level 80 masteries and one level 60 mastery.
Use the Auto Mastery & Skill Up options to allocate skill points automatically as you level up.
5. Auto Equipment
Up to level 51, you can upgrade your NPC-purchased or monster-dropped gear to +5 Full Blue with 80% stats by teleporting.
This feature works up to 6th Degree items but does not apply to 7th Degree and above.
6. Beginner Quests
At every 10 levels (Lv. 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 ,60), visit the Potion NPC to claim your rewards through the Beginner Quests.
7. General Quests
Complete the original Silkroad Online quests to gain additional experience points, which have a 1.5x higher rate than normal.
Track your progress and find new quests through the Guide Window (shortcut H).
8. Capture the Flag (CTF)
Starting at level 20, you can participate in the Capture the Flag event, which takes place every 4 hours.
In this event, you'll fight monsters with 4x the usual experience rate, and you can earn additional Skill Points through repeatable CTF quests.
You also earn Global Points and Activity Points by hunting opposing players.
9. Job Battlefield
At level 32, you can participate in the Job Battlefield as a Trader, Hunter, or Thief by equipping the appropriate job suit.
Once equipped, visit the Job Battlefield Manager NPC in Donwhang to accept daily quests for your level range, which reward you with EXP Scrolls, Skill Points, and Experience Points.
Each job type shares the same room for a given level range, so be prepared to encounter rival players while hunting monsters!
10. Forgotten World
Once you reach level 35, you can enter the Forgotten World through Pillars to collect talismans for powerful rewards. For example:
Lv. 35-70:Collect 8/8 talismans for a 7th Degree Seal of Star Weapon and 50,000 Skill Points.
Lv. 71-80:Collect 8/8 talismans for an 8th Degree Seal of Star Weapon and 100,000 Skill Points.
Unique monsters within the Forgotten World also drop Skill Point Scrolls.
11. Job Temple
When you complete the Job Battefield journey at Level 63, you can step into the next journey which is Job Temple.
This temple is available for all jobbers from Level 64+ and have monsters with higher experience points.

How to obtain Gold?

Trans pet slots based on level:
Lv. 20: 2 Slots
Lv. 30: 3 Slots
Lv. 45: 4 Slots
Lv. 60: 5 Slots
Lv. 75: 10 Slots
Profit per slot:
Jangan - Donwhang: 2m profit per slot
Jangan - Hotan: 4m profit per slot
10 Slots: Up to 40m net profit.
How to obtain Global Points (GP)?
Earned through in-game activities, events, and defeating unique monsters.
Spend them at the Global Item Manager in Donwhang.
How to obtain Premium Silk?
Available only through donation.
